In 2012, the Lord brought Pastor Tiago Oiveira and his family to Grace Baptist Church as he attended Reformed Theological Seminary. He was elected as an elder at Grace Baptist Church in February 2016. While at Grace, Tiago began his PhD in Biblical Studies through Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. In 2020, Grace sent the Oliveiras back to Portugal as missionaries. Tiago serves as the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church of Lisbon (a church revitalization work) and leads Martin Bucer Seminary Portugal. Tiago also serves the Portuguese Bible Society as an exegetical consultant and revisor of Portugal’s most used Bible Translation.
